As an independent study project senior year of college, I wrote, hosted, and starred in my own three part podcast series entitled "Fan for Thought." This podcast looked at different aspects of life as a fan and as part of a fandom, from conventions, to fan-fiction, to even what it's like to be the actor at the center of it all.

All three episodes are available on Spotify

and iTunes.

Thoughts from Kenya

In the spring break of my junior year I traveled with 13 other students to Kenya. Afterwards, I decided not to post any pictures on social media. (Well, except the one of me kissing a giraffe. That was too awesome not to share.)

While a picture is worth a thousand words, it doesn't always tell the whole story. Too often, white people or westerners go to third world countries and post pictures at the place or with the people where they become the center of attention. Considering that my Facebook is all about me, I didn't want to post pictures and have it become that. I wanted to be able to tell my own story.

This is my story. Inspired by the John Green and Hank Green series "Thoughts from Places," my video is a reflection on my trip to Kenya.

Project Lovely: Mickey's Mission

Project Lovely is a grant program sponsored by This Star Won't Go Out that supports young leaders in their endeavors. One of the 2018 winners was Mikaela Nelson and her project Mickey's Mission. For the Shine Under the Stars Gala, I produced a short video featuring Mikaela and her project.

Vlog: Geek and Glitter

Along with professional film making, I also create fun, Youtube-style vlogs and videos. This is a video I made after attending a convention in Toronto for the television show, Supernatural. I incorporate jump cuts, titles, and more to engage the viewer and create exciting content.
